Jozef Stančík

My work is diverse and encompasses a wide range of subjects. I have a passion for architecture and design, which is why I incorporate them into my paintings. I also have an appreciation for nature, movies, and music, all of which find their way into my artwork and will continue to do so.

I believe that change is a part of life, which is why I enjoy experimenting with different motifs, themes, and artistic techniques. My goal is to evoke a positive emotion in the viewer. I have a principle of creating art only when I’m in a good mood because I believe that the positive emotions.

I experience during the process of painting will be transferred into the artwork and conveyed to the viewer. There must be a chemistry between my artwork and the viewer, and when that happens, it’s something special. That’s what I strive for. I want emotions, I want that connection. It’s when the rational mind takes a step aside, and the focus is solely on the emotional experience.

DOMOVOI

"DOMOVOI" is a mythological creature from Slavic culture representing the spirit of the home.

Our company specializes in table production. We manufacture dining, conference, negotiation, office, writing, and console tables.

We walk on a path full of diverse colors, materials, strong emotions, inspirations, and challenges. We dream, visualize, design, and create… Our goal is to create emotionally charged products for customers who seek original, bold designs materialized through honest craftsmanship and high-quality materials.

We began producing tables in 2015 when we imported woods such as parota, tigerwood, and Spanish cedar from Costa Rica. Since 2015, we have manufactured over 70 tables, ranging from a large table measuring 6000x1400x760mm and weighing 1230kg to smaller console tables.

Initially, our tables featured a solid top with natural edges complemented by metal and glass bases. Gradually, we started developing our own table designs, incorporating materials such as liquid metal, natural stone, veneer, and gold leaf. Every day, we work on improving the quality, aesthetics, usability, and reliability of our products.
